春日，公山羊热普·热吉桑结和公绵羊托果·云丹西柔踏上了前往盐湖的征程，那里是它们补充食物、饮用盐水和青草的理想之地。然而，漫长冬季的大雪与北风让它们在一个土洞中度过了艰难时光，体弱多病。
途经一座高耸的雪山，他们以摇摆不定的步伐前行，就像是醉酒者一般，因为虚弱无力。抵达雪山口时，却遇到了蹲坐在大岩石上的一个大灰狼，它露出利齿、伸出血红舌头，说：“正好，有你们当我的早餐！”面对这种威胁，公山羊吓得急忙俯下身，而公绵羊却笑着迎上去，用诚恳的话语说：“我们两人都极为瘦弱，只有毛发和骨骼，如果吃掉恐怕会刺伤您的喉咙，或划破您的肚皮；何不等到秋天，我们身上肥肉三指厚，角上油脂流露时再来取，您将享受更佳美味。” wolves thought for a moment and agreed to let them pass, but only if they signed a written guarantee.
The two animals wrote out the promise on the snowy ground with their hooves and signed it with their short horns. They spent an entire summer at the salt lake, drinking saltwater and eating grass, growing stronger each day. On their way back home, they had to cross that same snow mountain again. As they approached the mountain base, they saw the gray wolf waiting at the top of the slope, pacing impatiently. The sheep didn't know what to do until they remembered a wise rabbit named Lozujianzan who lived nearby.
They sought out Lozujianzan's advice and found him busy thinking of ways to deal with this evil wolf. He proposed that his own fur would be used as camouflage for them: he would ride on goat's back while goat acted as his horse; sheep could act as his messenger due to its dignified appearance.
With new costumes made from red yellow green leaves, Rabbit rode on Goat's back while Sheep led them towards Snow Mountain. Sheep shouted: "Our king needs 100 tiger skins 100 leopard skins 100 wolf skins! We're just one skin short - yours!" The terrified gray wolf ran away in fear as Rabbit Goat and Sheep chased after him.
The three friends cornered him into a cave where he was injured badly but managed to hide inside a hole in an icy rock face when trying to escape through another hole in another rocky wall which is not deep enough for him so he fell down from high up into an icy pool which was under ice then tried again but got stuck by being frozen solid like ice when falling through thin ice over water below because there were many rocks around it . Then ,they put many stones at entrance of cave .Rabbit said,"Goat uncle ,sheep uncle,you stay here guarding ! After three days or three nights this wicked monster will be finished."
So Goat stayed first shift ,then came Sheep then Goat again . During these shifts ,the big bad grey wolf kept asking why everything outside sounded like noise ;and how come my head hurt ? And every time someone else took over watching duty .
Finally after some days later Wolf died alone without anyone killing it because of starvation & thirst .
