One day, these eight immortals decided to embark on a journey together to seek enlightenment at Mount Tai, one of China's most sacred sites for Taoist worshipers.
Climbing Mount Tai
The immortals encountered various challenges during their ascent up Mount Tai but ultimately reached its peak where they found an ancient temple dedicated to Taoism.
Meeting Xu Xian
In this temple, they met Xu Xian – an ordinary mortal man who had just married his beloved wife Bai Suzhen after being cured by her healing powers from leprosy.
Encountering Evil Forces
However, their joy was short-lived as they soon discovered that Xu Xian was haunted by demonic forces led by White Bone Demon Queen – a malevolent spirit seeking revenge against humans for killing her mother while she was still alive in her previous life.
Confronting White Bone Demon Queen
To protect Xu Xian from harm and ensure his safe passage back home with his wife Bai Suzhen after completing his pilgrimage at Mount Tai,
The Eight Immortals devised a plan using their unique abilities combined with good fortune brought about by meeting them along their path.
They successfully defeated White Bone Demon Queen,
and restored peace between mortals living near Mt.Tai area,
thus ending evil influences over locals' lives once more due not only because they used forceful means but also showed compassion towards those involved including demon queen herself.
As such actions were considered virtuous deeds thus made them closer friends among themselves too!
