The Monkey King's Great Departure
Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, was born from a stone in the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit. He grew up to be incredibly powerful and mischievous, causing trouble wherever he went. One day, he stole peaches from the Immortals' Peach Garden and became immortal himself.
The Buddha's Test
Touched by his mischief but also impressed by his strength, the Buddha decided to test Sun Wukong's worthiness. The Buddha created 80,000 golden hairs that would grow into an army of soldiers if anyone tried to cut them off. Sun Wukong bravely cut off all 80,000 hairs with his iron staff without flinching.
Becoming a Disciple
Impressed by Sun Wukong's bravery and determination, the Bodhisattva Guanyin took him under her wing and made him one of her disciples along with two other travelers – Zhu Bajie (also known as Pigsy) who had once been a pig demon turned into a human; and Sha Wujing (also known as Sandy), who had once been a military general turned into a rock spirit.
Their Journey Begins
Guanyin sent them on a journey westward in search of sacred scriptures stolen by demons. Along their way they encountered numerous obstacles including treacherous mountainside paths filled with demons trying to stop them from reaching their goal.
The White Bone Demoness
One such obstacle was the White Bone Demoness who disguised herself as Guanyin in order to trick Sun Wukong into marrying her. However, she soon revealed her true intentions when she attempted to kill him after discovering that he wasn't actually Guanyin.
Meng Po Divine Culinary Artistry & Forgetfulness Valley
After many trials they finally reached Mount Flower Fruit where they found out that Tang Sanzang had left behind two scrolls containing important teachings which were taken away again by those wicked fiends before reaching India safely through Forgetfulness Valley using Meng Po divine culinary artistry which erased their memories thus protecting them during their perilous journey back home.
They then went back home after realizing what happened at Mount Flower Fruit & successfully retrieved these crucial scrolls while facing countless challenges along this arduous path so far traveled together now stronger than ever before!
