The Epic of the Chinese Gods: A Journey Through Myth and Legend
The Beginning of Creation
In ancient China, there existed a multitude of gods who ruled over different aspects of life. The most prominent among them was Pangu, the creator god who brought forth the universe from a cosmic egg. According to myth, Pangu split open the egg with his mighty axe, revealing heaven and earth within.
