Yang Jian why so easy to get the throne of the Xuanwu family? Where is the core reason?
History always believes that big people often have different things from ordinary people. According to the Book of Sui, Yang Jian "was a person with dragon-like appearance, with five pillars entering his head, and his gaze was external." This is what they call a good omen. At 15 years old, Yang Jian was granted the title of Scattered Cavalry General and Carriage General due to his father's achievements. At 16 years old, he was promoted again to Reticulated Cavalry General and added Open Prefecture.
It's true that Yang Jian belongs to those who win at the starting line. As an official, he was respectful and diligent; as a son, he was filial and devoted. He quickly won high praise from everyone in court.
A good man has three helpers. Initially after ascending to power, Emperor Wen sought other officials for help against Emperor Gaozu (宇文护). That's when Yang Jian entered Emperor Wen's side - his daughter became Empress Dowager.
Although some believed that Yang Jian had ambitions beyond loyalty while Emperor Wen trusted him completely because he believed that Yang Jian could not shake off North Zhou's rule.
After Emperor Wen passed away, Crown Prince Yuwen Yuan succeeded him as emperor with Queen Xiao (the wife of Yuwen Yuan) becoming empress dowager. As her father-in-law held great power over them both during their reigns together until 581 AD when she ascended into heaven where she met her death by burning herself alive in grief for her husband
