Mother heard his song and was very surprised; she knew her son's stubbornness, so she didn't ask any more questions and helped him prepare for the journey. Next day morning, he put on the clothes and took out a ring from the chest, singing:
Oh horseman Lin Jia'er,
Please don't sleep, get up now,
Or you'll miss the good time!
The horse got up, and Nextan rode it. The horse kept kicking its hooves and crying like raindrops. Nextan stroked its mane and sang:
Oh horseman Lin Jia'er,
Please don't cry, be happy,
Or my heart will be even sadder!
At this moment, Mother couldn't hold back anymore; she hugged Nextan's leg tightly with tears in her eyes: "Nextan! Have you stolen something? Have you told lies? What do you have to say to Mommy?"
Nextan knocked his forehead three times against Mother's hand with pain: "Mommy! I haven't stolen anything from east or west nor told any lies; it's just that Arja Samjuma sang a song to me!"
Mother fainted on the spot after hearing this.
When the sun rose over Snow Mountain at dawn of next day, Nextan rode his horse to Headman Kangga Deba's estate. Old Master Kangga Deba was waiting for him in front of everyone.
Old Master Kangga Deba ordered Nextan's brother as his servant brother-in-law and his younger brother as a groom-brother-in-law to kill him.
Nexttan had expected this fate,”haha” laughed calmly before opening his chest pack again. He took out clothes for festivals which were given to old master as self-knife gift; he also gave a jewel ring for Samjuma as engagement ring gift saying:
This sharp knife is sent
to old master as self-knife
for killing himself;
this jewel ring is sent
to Samjuma as engagement
ring;
Thanking old master arranging well,
I've nothing more left to say!
As soon as he finished singing these lines while taking out short knives & rings from chest pack—old Master Kangga Deba called upon brothers (serving) brothers-in-law (as servants), who then killed him off right there in front of everyone—his blood spilled by courtyard fence—dead body thrown into Yarlung Tsangpo River—the locals all said “Horseman Nixtan died unfairly!”
After death Nixtan transformed into an eagle bird flying around estates every day until one evening when Headmaster Kangga Deba was crossing bridge riding on Horseback—a bird flew under bridge startling Horse’s hooves wildly causing Headmaster falling down whereupon getting pierced by Nixtan’s own knife inserted into chest —he fell dead instantly.
In turn Samjuma knew about Nixtan being killed —she felt both anxious & scared - became ill terribly lying down unable move - seeing little bird perched outside window tree branch began singing:
Ah-ah! Ah-ah!
I am Nixtan turned bird
Ah-ah!
Old Master just died by bridge-side
Ah-ah!
What are your thoughts now?
Samjuma recovered slightly upon hearing these words opened box only found Horseman Nixtan smilingly emerging from box looking even stronger & prettier than ever before.
