Just like life-giving rain falling on a parched field, life was restored to little Hanuman.
Wind God was overjoyed and thanked Brahma for reviving his son. With the blessings of the gods, including Indra's gift of strength and a sacred text that granted him wisdom and eloquence, Hanuman grew up to be a powerful and intelligent monkey. He became the commander-in-chief of the Monkey Army under Sugriva's leadership.
Hanuman spent his early years in solitude, studying scriptures and martial arts in search of his lost intelligence. Eventually, he joined Sugriva's army as its chief strategist and military leader during their war against Ravana's Lanka.
In this epic battle between good and evil forces, Hanuman proved himself to be an invaluable asset with his unmatched strength, agility, bravery and wit. His most famous feat is when he single-handedly snatched Ravana's magical gemstone (the "Syamantaka jewel") from heaven while crossing the ocean using Mount Mainaka as a stepping stone.
Despite being blessed by all gods with various divine weapons that could not harm him (except for those specifically gifted by Brahma), Hanuman remained humble throughout his journey. He remained loyal to Lord Rama till death parted them apart at Chitrakut hill after completing their mission together.
The story of Hanuman is one filled with wisdom about perseverance through trials & tribulations; loyalty towards friends & allies; protection & love towards family members; faithfulness towards one’s duty or dharma; compassion towards others regardless of their species or social status; adaptability in different environments whether it be heaven or hell itself - these are just some lessons we can learn from this fascinating tale!
