1953年,she joined the Anhui Yellow River Theatre Troupe, marking a new chapter in her life. Her voice is clear and sweet, with a singing style that is both natural and refined. She has portrayed numerous iconic characters throughout her career, including Tao Jinhua from "The Pig Grass", Seven Fairy Maidens from "Heavenly Matchmaker", Feng Sufen from "Lady Attendant", Weaving Maiden from "Cowherd and Weaver Girl", as well as Zhao Wusi from the modern play "After Harvest". These performances have been immortalized in film adaptations of these works.
Over the course of 23 years, she has made significant contributions to the development of Yellow River Theatre art. Her dedication to her craft has left an indelible mark on this ancient art form, inspiring generations to come.
